Case Study

Chino Copper Mine

A further test of the Magnetisation Vector Inversion (MVI) technology was completed using new data from the USGS who completed a magnetic survey which was released in late 2024. The modelling was undertaken independently of knowing the location of the Chino deposit.

The results highlighted the ability of the new MVI technology to independently predict the location of the large Chino copper deposit in detail, based on broad spaced 200m magnetic data.

Other deposits in New Mexico could also be identified using the MVI process, and further work in over known deposits across the globe are continuing to prove up this method as the best way to rapidly focus in on where a large mineral deposit may have formed.
